Motion Sickness - the music blog

Why motion sickness? I don't know. It's not like I literally get "nausea and dizziness induced by motion, as in travel by aircraft, car, or ship". Really, damn it, doesn't life sometimes feel like it moves too quickly where you may have to step outside for a second to unload? Yeah, I hear ya. This is why I listen to music!

I'm actually going through with this

Yes. I'm actually going through with this.

I never thought I'd start a blog.

I only thought people who were aspiring writers and journalists would use a blog as a means to get their writing out to the public. I even figured that those who were very opinionated or enjoyed initiating a topic of debate would use blogs as a medium for their passions. I never saw myself as this kind of person. I never wanted to become a journalist, nor did I have any kind of drive to write for a living. My writing isn't very good, to tell you the truth. It can be awkward to read...but I'm sure the message will be delivered. Regardless, I'm starting a blog because of two main reasons:

1) I want to use this as a way to expose people to new music and learn about new music.

2) I want to use this as some form of outlet. Call it "therapeutic". That's all I'm getting into on that topic, although I'm sure the 'psych' stuff will find it's way nicely in due time.

Essentially, this blog will be used to discuss my latest music trends and get stuff off my chest.

So with all that said and done, let's get this blog started up!

What a great idea! A site for the music guru to enlighten his fiending masses. Who needs one-on-one contact when you can communicate through webpages?! YEAH! Hmmm...does that sound cynical? I can't help myself - I am homozygous positive for the A4859-99 allele.
